    The family influences, early education and formative experiences of Kofi's childhood in Tema, and his school years at Mfantsipim — the discipline that shaped later ambitions.

    Understanding People

    The study of psychology at the University of Ghana gave Kofi an appreciation for human behaviour, motivation and relationships — insights that later became relevant to recruitment, leadership and organisational development.

    Learning from the Frontline

    Before becoming a business owner, Kofi worked within the operational environment of offshore drilling. The experience exposed him to the standards, pressures and human-capital requirements of the energy industry. It also showed him where local businesses could add value.

  4. Chapter 04 · 2011

    The Beginning of Rigworld

    In 2011, Kofi established Rigworld from a small office in Osu. Its early focus was recruitment for Ghana's growing oil and gas industry. The beginnings were modest, but the ambition was clear: to build an indigenous business capable of understanding international requirements and delivering effectively within the local environment.

    From Service to Integrated Capability

    As industry requirements evolved, the business expanded into complementary capabilities, partnerships and related ventures. Each milestone is a response to a market need — not merely a list of company names.
